Declaration of General Average AU1/ MV Northern Jupiter Voy.949N
February 21, 2020
Dear Valued ONE Customer,
Declaration of General Average AU1/ MV Northern Jupiter Voy.949N
Incident in the Malacca Straits whilst sailing from Singapore to Port Klang on Saturday 4 January 2020
Further to our Customer Advisory dated February 14, 2020, we would like to update you on General Average status of the vessel and GA Security requirements for this incident.
Unfortunately, the previous planned berthing / discharge of the vessel last Friday February 14 was postponed due to issues with the Singapore PSA Terminal. However, we are pleased to inform you that the vessel was berthed to discharge all the cargo from the vessel at Singapore PSA Terminal on February 21.
We can confirm that all ONE containers have been already discharged from the vessel and are waiting for connecting to MV Hamburg Bay Voy.004N (ETA Singapore 26 February)
We wish to remind you again that your cargo can not be released to you at the destination port until we receive approval for the release from the GA Adjuster. This is because each cargo interest must provide all required GA securities for its own cargo.
Please note that you have been provided with the requirements for provision of required securities in our previous customer advisory dated January 30.
For smooth cargo release to you at the destination, we hereby provide a summary of the GA security requirements, again.
